Dr. Ismat Jahan Lima has been working in government and private health service in Bangladesh starting from 2003 until 20…..She practices Colorectal Surgery since 20….. In last 10 years she has consulted nearly 35000 (Thirty Five thousand) new patients and operated 8000 (Eight thousand) patients in private and government’s hospital having piles, fistula, anal fissure, colon and rectal cancer, polyp, rectal prolapse & diverticulitis. She does short or full colonoscopy herself routinely for most of the patient. She has attended many conferences at home and abroad.
Contributions:
Dr. Ismat Jahan Lima is Associate Profession the Department of Colorectal Surgery at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College & Hospital. He successfully initiated various modern surgeries of colon and rectum. Such as double stapling of rectum cancer, Longo operation for Hemorrhoid and successful operation of fistula after having frequent unsuccessful operations. He has been practicing the colorectal surgery for many years.
Such as- pops for ODS, Complete Pelvic floor Repair, Perineal reconstruction along with various operation of pelvic floor disorder.
She has been doing surgery for colon cancer along with anal fissure, hemorrhoid fistula in ano and other colorectal diseases.
